When we finally reached her with her medication, she cried. Not just from relief, but because someone had actually listened. Someone had seen her struggle and refused to look away.

That moment became our foundation. We realized healthcare isn’t just about pills and prescriptions. It’s about making people feel valued when they’re most vulnerable.

Also, in 2023, the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria reported that Nigeria has only one pharmacist for every 18,385 people (WHO recommends 1:2,000). This means endless pharmacy queues, rushed five-minute consultations, unanswered questions, no privacy, and that sinking feeling that you’re just a number, no matter how urgently you need pharmacy care.

Dr. Andrew Akhabue, Dr. Joy Enwerem, and Dr. Raphael Odoh, three visionary pharmacists who met during their undergraduate studies at the University of Benin, have always been keen on identifying public health issues and proffering solutions.

During the pandemic in 2020, we launched FLO-LOG, a company that delivers medications to people in the comfort of their homes. This ability to increase access to authentic medications further fueled our passion to solve more healthcare problems, particularly instant access to licensed pharmacists.
